On The Road to St. John's, Antigua

Check this off the bucket list - horseback riding on the beach of the Caribbean Sea!

The port of St. John's, Antigua is a busy one. Our cruise ship was one of three that pulled in during the first half of the day.

Our horseback riding excursion was fairly early; the drive to the beach got us there around 9:00 am, the sun already beating down.

Fortunately, the tropic breeze off the Caribbean made the scenic horseback ride an absolute delight, both on land and sea!

A special thanks to the man in charge of these wonderful Island Horses, "Sun Fire!"

We spent the better half of the afternoon back onboard the ship, exploring some of the many options Adventure of the Seas has to offer. Not only does this ship have mini-golf, ping pong and a basketball court - it also has rock climbing! We both tried - and failed...

...but get an A for effort (and fun)!

Dinner in the main dining room was "Italian Night," but I had to finish this tasty meal alone!

Someone had a little too much sun and excitement and needed to get some early shut-eye to take on our next adventure in St. Lucia tomorrow!
